It's been a long time coming!

Well hello there! It's been a long time since I blogged but....... well id like to say I have an excuse but i really don't; ill slap my wrists for you! But it has been a busy time, i've had my AS exam's, i've done so much psychology revision I swear I know more than the actual psychologists, oh and wait..... I BROKE MY ANKLE!

Yes you heard that right, I have in fact broken my ankle! I did it on friday night at the cinema..... I fell down the stairs, in front of everyone! Oh the embarrassment was the only thing apart from pain on my mind all the way through the film! 'How did you fall down the stairs?!' you might say? Oh well I was helping my friend who was wearing 6 inch heels down the stairs, and i just fell; but i was wearing flats!!! So anyway, I went to bed in pain but thought, 'oh it'll be alright!', only to wake up the next morning to my ankle looking not entirely normal:

Then came the visit to A&E. Oh my, I literally spend my whole life in A&E, so it's not a place I worry about going to! I must have spent about 4 hours there, which to be honest, isn't that long!  I found out that I have quite a serious Avulsion fracture of my medial malleolous; basically i've broke a piece of bone the size of a 10p piece off of the end of my tibia! Luckily for me I was told by the nurse that for this, there was no need for a cast and that i would just need to use crutches for about a week. WRONG! I went back for the follow up appointment, and get told i'm not allowed to walk on my ankle for about 2/3 weeks, then i'm allowed to use the crutches to me walk, oh and i got a cast! Only a back slab one though, but i guarantee at the many gatherings i have this week it will get covered in signings!

Sunday Summary #4!

Right, first thinks first, I'm incredibly sorry about not blogging for about 2/3 weeks, but i've just not been in a 'bloggy' mood. You know what I mean? So anyway i've been quite busy lately due to the fact that its been a few of my friends birthdays so i've been going out for meals and what not!

Then it was my long awaited fancy dress birthday party, 3 weeks after my birthday but never mind. I think I changed my outfit so many times, originally I was going to go as a lifeguard, then as a sailor, then as Minnie Mouse, then as a cheerleader, then FINALLY I choose Snow White!

By this point i'm not really too sure what had happened to us...

Surprisingly I've not been shopping in quite a while but i've been saving up for when I got for a weekend away to Scarborough (Rock and roll life style I know!) in a couple of weeks with my aunty and uncle as a late birthday present! So i'm hoping to get a few things from there, and then when I go to Designer Outlet as another late birthday present! But Mum did buy me some bright red jeans from Sainsburys  because they're beaut! AND they're a size 10, which I'm so proud of! To you you'll probably think that thats no big deal but i'm finally at the size I want to be, and it was one happy moment when they fitted!

I also joined Instagram as soon as the Android app was released! So follow me bitches, its Jmgisby !

I've also just finished reading the Hunger Games and I can say that I FRICKING LOVED IT! I just started the second book, Catching Fire, last night , and i'm already on chapter 8/9! I think i'm addicted, and I truly recommend it!

OOOOOOOOO and! I'm doing the race for life on July 22nd, and a half marathon on September 30th! I'm so excited! And I can't wait to get my shoes to start training! I'm a nutter I know but running makes me happy!

Finally as today is Easter, i'll leave you with a picture of my chocolate, because well, i'm nice like that! I did have intentions of making it last all week, but i've already ate the Lindt mini chocolate bunnies, the mini Cadbury caramel eggs, the lose Creme egg and one of the creme eggs out of the box! My bad.... Good job i'm walking a good 2.5 miles tomorrow!

Primark Haul!

HOLLA!

If you've read my last post you'll know that I still had some birthday money left so I decided to go to Primark today, therefore i've got a haul for you! I know you like them ;)

The first thing I brought were these shorts, and they were a complete bargain at £10! I though they looked like something you'd find in Topshop.

I then picked up this top, and tbh I fricking love it! Its a tie front and it's kinda cropped but not majorly; AND its was only £5!

This to both the top and the shorts together, I quite like it personally!

I got this dress as well, and I can officially say it's my new favourite thing! It was £10 but looks a lot more expensive and is much better quality than a £10 dress should be! Also the colour is beaut! 

Finally I got some new sandals and some tights for my fancy dress party in 2 weeks. The sandals are seriously cute and for only £6 are a bargain! And the tights were only £3 and will do the job perfectly!

So that's everything that I brought, and i'm very happy with it all tbh. I did get another dress but it turned out to be the wrong size (thought it was a 10, but it was really a 14!) so i'll be taking that back.

My Birthday!

HOLLA!

Right I know I haven't posted in so long but 6th form has been so stressful, and at this very moment I am supposed to be doing some forensic science work, but I have postponed it just for you guys!

So Basically, it was my birthday on Sunday the 11th of March and I was 17! I told my mum the night before that due to the fact that my birthday was on a Sunday, I didn't want to be woken before 9:30am (its the day of rest after all!). So what happened? At exactly 9:30am mum comes in like she's the happiest person in the whole world and gives me my cards and presents!

All together I got £180 (not bragging in anyway btw), a ton of gluten free food, a Gonzo Mug, a chocolate cake (which I am yet to actually get), a Simple face care kit, a beaut necklace, and the Breaking dawn DVD.

With my money I decided to buy a Kindle which was £89, so i've still got £90 left. Hello shopping...

I'd like to add that the Kindle is amazing! I mean, I went through the stage that I swear all kids go through were you just read all the time, and all you ever buy is books, mainly because there's no distraction of laptops, mobiles, or TV's, but then I grew out of it; and I missed it. BUT the kindle is something different, it makes you want to read and it just draws you in! So far i've brought Gok Wan's autobiography "Through thick and thin", the first Hunger games book (which is addictive!), The women in black, and Alice in wonderland, and all of them seem so much better than if they were on paper; i don't know what it is, I think its the fact that its technology and well I am from the technology generation so it must just entice me!

Right now finally i'll get onto my birthday cake. Well what can I say? It was different. As you may or may not know, I have celiac disease and can't eat wheat or gluten so my mum made my cake because its a lot cheaper  than buying one of the internet (seriously! they're like £30!). Well when it got brought out, I just cracked up. Basically, it looked like the roof of the O2 arena; but it was gorgeous!

Overall, I had an amazing birthday, and I know feel so old!

Weekly Nutshell #3!

HOLLA DAWGS!

Its that time of the week again! Considering that it was half term this week, you'd think i'd have loads to talk about. But you're wrong. My week has consisted of work, work, more work, and oh wait... more work! And I still have 2 &half mini ict essays to do, 2 forensic science assignments, and 2 health and social assignments. I think I might die.

One very important event that happened this week though is that my nephew turned one!! I'm so proud of him and he's more like a little brother than a nephew; I still can't believe that he's 1! For his birthday I painted him a canvas of Mickey Mouse (which you can see from the picture above i was getting stressy with half way through it) and brought him this like ball tower thing where you put the balls in the drop and they flash and role to the bottom. (just incase you really wanted to know LOL)

I've become more mobile, still on crutches but I can do the "Cripple shuffle" as my mum likes to call it.

I have discovered the amazing LA colours nail varnishes! I was just out doing a bit of shopping with my mum when I went into this shop called Boyces; they had this massive stand full of LA colours make-up, and well I went straight to the nail varnishes. They were all £1 , so I was straight in there; long story short I brought 4 in the colours Sparkling diamonds, Palm tree, shocking pink (i think), and ?????? .
I shall be doing a review of these soon! 

Also, really quickly, I've been pricing up how much it would be to stay at Disneyland Paris at the end of year 13 with my mates! Eeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm like a little kid i'm so excited!

Weekly Nutshell! # 2

HOLLA DAWGS!

It time of the week again! This week seems to have gone FAAAST, considering i'm quite slow at the mo (i blame the crutches) its gone very fast!

Firstly, it snowed some more! Which instantly brightened my mood from feeling sorry for myself, to " OMG ITS SNOWING!", I then realised I can't actually go out in the snow.....
However It then did promptly turn to rain so all we have now is.... nothing. Great.

The leg is still in the splint, and to be perfectly honest, its doing my head in! I want to walk on, so I try and then promptly fall flat on my arse because it gives way, useful, really useful. I suppose i'll just have to let it get better by its self and not rush it; On a plus note, i get my bendy splint in like a week so that's always good.

Also I got my braces changed, I think I showed you before but I can't remember, so hey ho. But they are now purple! I kinda miss the red, so I might go back to red but I think the purple looks cute. Now I have had questions on why i've got braces and why i've got them on so late, and its because my teeth aren't aligned properly and neither is more jaw so i've got to have braces and then jaw surgery to correct it. Why i'm putting myself through all this pain, i'll never know.

As you may also be able to see (oh gawd, i feel like i'm writing one of my essays, sorry!) I got my EAR pierced. Yes I only got one done, and thats because I did it myself and I only wanted one at the time, I now want three in my left and two in my right. Now I bet you're thinking " YOU DID IT YOURSELF!? WHAT?!!" Yes, yes I did it myself. But at first it was an accident as wasn't looking in the mirror when i was putting my earring in so I ended up puncturing the skin just above my original piercing and though "sod it, it'll go all the way through!" So I did.  I think I might go get my next one done properly though, i don't think i'll trust myself again....

Finally I rekindled my love for the Natural Collection Blush in "Peach Melba". I asked mum to go and get me the blush and thought "well i'll give it another go, considering i can't go and swatch them myself", and i'm glad I did! I fricking love it!

I can't believe its nearly 7 years since you passed away; everyone thinks that i'm over grieving and set i've come to terms with your loss, but it actually fact i'm really not. The other day while I was waiting for dad to come and pick me up , I just looked at a car randomly and I could of sworn that the person inside was you. But then I realised it obviously couldn't of been you and that's when it hit me how much I miss you. Of course I miss you everyday, it sounds cheesy but it feels like there's something missing, I miss seeing your huge smile and hearing your laugh; but I miss you more that ever now. The thing that upsets me the most is that because i was only 10 when you died, I'm beginning to forget how your laugh used to sound; and that's tearing me apart. That's why I think that it's really hitting me now that your really gone, I can't just pop round for a chat or go out shopping with you, and now I can't even go and talk to you at your grave because you don't have one. 

I just hope that you are out of pain now sis, and that your illness can't harm your any longer.

Just remember Jude, you are beautiful no matter what they say.

Weekly Nutshell.

HOLLA DAWGS

It's a me, MARIO!

I'm so sorry about the fact that i've been away for ages, but sixth form has been HECTIC!

Its been assignment,after assignment,after essay, after exam, etc...

But i suppose it'll all pay of in the end, 'eh!

So i've decided to at least do one blog post a week, on a sunday, so i can at least inform you about my life!

So i'll work backwards, because, well social normality isn't something i strive for;obvs.

.......

IT SNOWED! Okay so if you live in the UK you'll know that even 1mm of snow excites us so to have about 7/8 inches of the white stuff (not in that way, cheeky) was amazing!

Last night I finally got round to using one of my Lush bath bombs I got for Christmas, and as you can see it was the Lil' Lush Pud!

OH MY! it was AMAZE! It did turn the water a weird brown colour but it smelt so good it was unreal!

 Yes, that's the time I got to 6th form all this week, I didn't even know that the school was open at that time; obviously is though!

And it was freezing cold! I mean this picture was taken on a good day, on friday, it was -4'c!

I swear i had frostbite...

 On Wednesday I went on a Forensic science trip to Nottingham Trent Uni (absolutely no where near my house, so no you can't stalk me) to have a look at the Different labs that they had. It was pretty boring apart from the Forensics and Ballistics labs , which coming from a non science nerd, were amazing! I'm even considering applying to do Forensic now, just because of this trip! But anyway, this was one of my friends Chau asleep on the way to the uni! I mean we live quite far away from the uni but not that far away that you need to sleep!

 Oh and finally, on monday evening I ended up in A+E with a dislocated kneecap!

Second time i've done it, 

and this time it happened by....... drumroll.......

FALLING BACKWARDS OFF THE BED!

I mean what the hell is that all about!

So i've torn many ligaments again, including the MCL,LCL, and a partial tear to the ACL. 

This splint for 3/4 weeks, hinged splint for 3 weeks after that, and crutches through out all of it.

Fan-bloody-tastic. 

So that's my week in a nutshell, its been manic but hopefully it should all calm done soon.

Long time no speak! My excuse is that i'm revising for mock exams , but what's yours hey?!

Just a quicky today and I really do mean it.
Today I found these AMAZE Vans and I fell in love instantly, I just need them in my life!

OH MY!!! 

If I could ask these shoes to bed, I would do!

They are from Schuh and are £50 which is kind of pricey but I think it would be worth it just to look like a "hipster" Dorothy! LOL

Also For my birthday party the theme is "Anything fancy dress with a sprinkle of glitter!" So....ahem these shoes are perfect.

Work harder in 6th form, as at the mo I leave everything till last minute and DOSS way to much.

Be happy With my weight, no one is perfect

Live my life how I want to, its my life no one should be able to control that.

Save money, primark and ark might go into economic crisis but at least I won't.

4 Aims, 4 Goals, 12 months to achieve them, the rest of my life to continue them happily.
